Swimming against the tide: contemporary art practices in revolutionary Cuba
Abstract
Our study focuses on the homosexual collective and its disadvantaged situation in revolutionary Cuba. As an interesting counterpoint, we will highlight the important role of Cuban contemporary art in removing sexual prejudices against homosexuality.
